Don’t get me wrong.
I like gray.
I use gray.
And for some people, gray is a great choice.
For others, they are ready to take a little more risk in their home.
And 2024 is embracing a little design risk.
Now that the year has started, here is what I am seeing as the hottest wall color trends of 2024.
Let’s see if any of these help infuse your space with personality.
Embracing Vibrant Hues
Bold and striking colors are stealing the spotlight in 2024.
Picture rich jewel tones like emerald green, sapphire blue, and amethyst purple.
These hues add depth and drama to any room, creating an atmosphere that is both captivating and enlivening.
Color to try: Benjamin Moore Mozart Blue
Nature’s Inspiration
I am SO inspired by nature. I find being in a beautiful surrounding as extremely therapeutic! So, it makes sense to bring the serenity of nature into our homes. Earthy and organic hues are having a moment in 2024.
Imagine walls adorned with soothing greens like moss or sage, or warm and welcoming neutrals inspired by sand and stone. These colors create a tranquil ambiance, allowing you to escape the chaos of the outside world and find solace in our own pretty spaces.
Paint color to try: Farrow and Balls Green Smoke
Combining Texture and Color
Paint is not the only option when it comes to making a statement….
Want to make more of a statement?
Embrace options such as stucco, exposed brick, or intricate wallpaper patterns that match your color scheme.
These textures blend well with vibrant hues, bringing a touch of luxury and uniqueness to your space.
Accent walls are NOT out of style. What you CHOOSE for the accent wall makes it classic, trendy, or dated.
Don’t worry if you have decor style that feels outdated.
A fresh coat of paint can work wonders in transforming a room.
By selecting the right color palette, you can effortlessly update the look and feel of your space without a complete overhaul.
So, how will you incorporate the latest wall color trends into your existing decor?
