If there’s anything better than ice cream in the summer, it’s…
MORE ICE CREAM!
I was planning a get-together for friends at my house. I thought, “Oh, how about a vintage vibe…?”
Because I’m ALWAYS thinking, “HOW ABOUT A VINTAGE VIBE”!
I thought about ice cream…
Because WHO CAN STOP THINKING ABOUT ICE CREAM?
Ask me if I have old crates, signs, and tins. Vintage print table cloths? Duh!
How would you set up your ice cream station? What might you have that you could pull out for an ice cream social party? Here are some of my ice cream social buffet ideas.
Hang a couple of tasseled garlands and easy peasy brown craft papers signs…
Cute little scalloped paper bags filled with ice cream fixin’s? Jaunty striped tea towels? Mason jars for the root beer floats, enameled bucket for iced cokes? Cue the happy dance!
(Did you see the ice cream-themed DIY name tags?)
Maybe your thing would be an ice cream sundae bar? An ice cream buffet? An ice cream themed birthday party? Yes, please!
Anybody can have water in plastic bottles. Up the charm factor with decorative stoppered bottles!
Oh, and try this at home: white sponge plus dimpled brown chipboard = ice cream sandwich table decor. Darlin’, or what??
We had a blast–and ate LOTS of ice cream! Isn’t that what an ice cream party is FOR?
So tell me you’re inspired to get up an old fashioned ice cream social! See how easy it is?
What is your favorite summer party theme? All American? Tropical? Fiesta?
If your home is not quite party-ready, I’d love to help! Let’s talk!
