My kids are at a great age– the age where Christmas is even more magical and festive than it usually is! So, I was super excited to transform our house into a Winter Wonderland.
So, don’t stand still for long! If it isn’t moving, I am decking it with halls of jolly! (People included).
First of all, here is the formal living room. The color scheme in here focuses on wintery white and brown, with touches of gold and black on the tree.
The staircase has garland and ribbons and huge oversize glittery snowflakes.
The back wall of the living room is raw shiplap and covered in wintery baskets and crates. Steal this idea: fill a glass cloche with vintage ornaments!
The next room of this tour is the Dining Room. I went a completely different direction, taking the navy paint and colored stained glass window as inspiration and adding a little color! Gold branches with vintage type ornaments hang out, and a fun and whimsical garland hangs across the window.
I added green garland with a big matching bow on the window.
My favorite room in the house is next– any guesses to which one it is?
Come back and see!
