Are you having a blue Christmas? I mean, a blue Christmas tree theme!
Maybe you’ve heard Cecily Strong or Austin Butler singing “Blue Christmas” on your playlist. But did you also know you can bring that magic into your home too? Because Blue is a stunning Christmas color with depth. It pairs beautifully with silver, gold, green, white, or any metallic for breathtaking results.
Thus, using blue creates a fresh, modern twist on the classic red and green.
Here’s how we made this tree, decorated with blue and silver, really shine…
We carefully selected ornaments and decorations that incorporated shades of blue and metallic accents. By combining different shades of blue, such as navy, royal blue, and icy blue, with silver, gold, or other metallic colors, we created a visually stunning and harmonious color palette. Furthermore, the metallic elements added a touch of glamour and sophistication to the tree, while the varying shades of blue created depth and dimension.
To make the tree pop, we mixed in a bunch of ornaments with different textures and patterns. We added glittery snowflakes, sequined baubles, velvet ribbons, and satin bows. By combining all these textures, the tree looked super dynamic and fun. The different materials really brought it to life, giving it depth and making it impossible to look away. It all came together to create a beautiful, eye-catching display!
3. Sparkling Lights
We enhanced the magical ambiance of the blue Christmas tree by strategically placing sparkling lights throughout the branches. The soft glow of the lights intertwined with the blue ornaments created a mesmerizing effect, evoking a sense of enchantment and wonder. Whether using traditional white lights or opting for blue or multi-colored ones, the twinkling lights brought the tree to life and added a touch of holiday magic.
By combining the right color palette, incorporating textures and patterns, and adding sparkling lights, we transformed this blue Christmas tree into a showstopper. The result is a fresh and modern take on holiday decor, embracing trend of a Blue Christmas.
