Christmas table settings are one of my favorite parts of the season. There’s just something about mixing pretty plates, cozy fabrics, and a few details that makes everything feel extra special.
Here are a few of my favorite combinations.

This first one gives all the cozy cabin vibes, rich reds, greens, and a touch of gold. The red winter scene plate instantly sets the mood, layered over a green scenic charger and topped with a Christmas tree salad plate.
I used a red and white plaid napkin tied with a little gold dog napkin ring (so cute!) and set everything on a dark velvet tablecloth for that warm, classic Christmas feel. It’s the kind of table that makes you want to pour hot chocolate and listen to carols by the fire.
Other things I love with this setting:

I wanted to do something softer for this one a mix of pink, red, and green that still feels festive but a little unexpected. The pink plate with the Christmas tree in the center pairs perfectly with the red and white holly plate underneath.
The pink scalloped placemat adds such a sweet touch, and I layered a green and white check napkin underneath for some texture. Gold flatware finishes the look simple and pretty.

This one might be my favorite. It feels cozy and natural like Christmas in a country cottage. I started with brown floral dishes and added a green embossed salad plate on top. The green and white napkin tied with a wooden ring adds that simple, rustic touch and also don’t forget the utensils to complete the look.
Everything sits on the placemat that ties all the colors together. It’s warm and just feels calm and welcoming, perfect for a quiet holiday dinner.
Each of these settings tells a different Christmas story and that’s what I love most about them. You don’t have to stick to one “look” for the season. Mix and match patterns, play with color, and add those small personal touches that make it yours.
