This room says, “Union Jack, meet Farmhouse Americana!” This was one of the quickest rooms to put together due to it’s size, but it holds a lot of character!
My FAVORITE part of this room is the trough bathroom sink and the open shelving.
Highlights in decor:
-In this bathroom I used lots of red. It is dramatic, yet not over the top. Don’t ever be afraid of color even if have a small space.
-The Union Jack shower curtain provides instant character. It’s bright and bold. It looks fantastic against the white subway tile.
-Here again I use open bracket shelving. It gives a taste of industrial while providing storage. Storage was key for this small space.
-What gives the bathroom it’s vintage charm is the “Buy American” sign, the street signs and the gold medallion mirror. Juxtaposed against the Union Jack the Americana touches create a bold farmhouse feel.
-I brought stripes into this room, but not in the color gray. Since this room is small, I needed something interesting. So red stripes for the win! The red stripes compliment the shower curtain and match the boy’s bedrooms.
I hope you enjoyed the tour of my home. Stay tuned because next week I will be taking you through some of my client’s homes.
